Another day, another post.
My usual staple of modelling info diet consists of visiting several online retailers. Some of which are updated very often like Hobby Search.
Today, I found out that they are releasing a new Zoids kit soon. Usually I am not that excited about Zoids kits at all because they are really made as toys. Of course, with some work, they can turn out really nice too and those animal mechas looks totally kick-arse when done right.
But the usual Tomy kit has really thick and tough plastic (ABS?) and really puts me off. This new kit is a static kit and is going to be made by Kotobukiya. I wish more kits would follow this trend and remove the ‘toyish’ elements of a model kit.
Actually I saw news of this a couple of months back on a hobby magazine but I was unable to get more info about it. I will really look forward to this, together with the upcoming Selena kit from Armoured Core. Which I hope to be the last of the Armoured Core series. I already have the Mirage and the Crest. Together, the trio should look spanking.
Also in other news, Hasegawa will be releasing the VF-0S from Macross Zero in Full Armour glory. Reportedly in a box twice as big as the current VF-0S Battriod. That’s big! And very tempting.
I know my gf is frowning.
