Gundam Mk. II Titans

Bandai PG Gundam Mk. II Titans
Commissioned work

My first commissioned work in a long long time. The last time was like 3-4 years ago when I was really into sculpting and sculpted some anime figures. Wow. I sure wasn’t expecting it to be a PG. This is my first PG too. Well, I do have a PG Zaku but I never got around to building it.

Bandai sure put in alot of effort into the design of the PG, very complex internal structures. Well, this one came right out of the box with a slight variation in the paint scheme. I sure enjoyed myself building this.

Construction

Construction was fairly straight forward even though the PG is very complicated. 30+ sprues and hundreds of part that made up the PG was the most daunting. I literally spent quite a lot of time searching thru the box for the right sprue when building the model.

But it was fun building the model nonetheless. I did broke a few parts and a couple got lost because I had to throw away many used sprue to keep the table from becoming totally chaotic. Well, guess I threw away some a couple of parts.

The broken part shown on the left was replaced with an aluminium rod with the same diameter. Lost part shown on the right was scratchbuilt.

The remaining of the building was rather unevenful (thankfully). I guess I would certainly to build my own PG Zaku after this experience!

how do you put shadow paint on a gundam and what do you use?

Shadow paint? I think you are referring to pre-shading. Google this and I’m sure you can find a lot of info.
